Oroshima-chiku * Withstands -18ºC
This small, low-bodied bamboo is characterized by the regular arrangement of bright green leaves on either side of the cane. For use as a cover, it should be planted densely.
This bamboo does well in any situation, however, if it is too shaded, the stem tends to lengthen and the regular arrangement of the leaves, which is one of the attractions of this plant, fades.
Edges, “lawns,” cliff garrison, planters, pots,…
It is one of the most compact dwarf bamboos, ideal for demarcations or small ‘lawns’. In the latter case, it must be trimmed twice a year.
