Features
This magnificent bamboo emits young green stems that gradually darken to ebony black especially if exposed to the sun; shiny green leaves; little invasive rhizome. In very good conditions the stems can reach 7 cm in diameter. Generally, the diameter is between 2 and 4 cm.
Care
It enjoys locations sheltered from wind
Uses
Isolared tufts, hedges.
Benefits
The coloring of the stems makes an essential piece anywhere in a garden. It allows you to obtain interesting colored effects when together with other yellow and green stem bamboos or differently colored.
