Features
Stems very straight and stiff, initially olive green becoming yellow (if placed in the shade) or green (if placed in the sun). Very small leaves (8 to 10 cm). Fine, light, and very dark green foliage, except for the young leaves which are much lighter in the first weeks.
Care
Very rustic, this bamboo can grow anywhere. Reputed for its resistance to drought.
Uses
Hedges, bushes, isolated tufts.
Benefits
Very elegant, graceful, and dense foliage, forming very decorative tufts. Wood of excellent quality highly appreciated in Asia for craftwork.
