Features
Identical to Phyllostachys aurea with the difference that young stems that burst pale green become progressively yellow whatever their exposure. This coloring is often brighter on stems exposed to the sun.
Care
It grows in all conditions; withstands a relative drought without damage.
Uses
Free or trimmed hedges, bushes, edges, flowerbeds, isolated clumps.
Benefits
During autumn some stems take on a surprising purple coloration.
