Features
Stems with quadrangular sections; prominent nodes with root outcrops. Beautiful, flexible and glossy leaves 20 to 25 cm long. Columnar bearing.
Care
Reserve a sheltered place for this bamboo, as its young sprouts, that appear in autumn, suffer with strong frosts.
Uses
Isolated tufts, massifs, pots, flowerbeds.
Benefits
This bamboo is original because of its square-section stems but also very decorative because of its cascading foliage. Beautiful plant for balconies or well-lit interiors.
